Diamond Bay

On Christmas Eve Eve, we decided that since we hadn't gotten our tree yet, hadn't wrapped any presents, and didn't have a plan for dinners for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day that the best thing to do was to escape to the beach and build sand castles as a family instead of worrying about it! We headed back out to the peninsula to the back beach side (ocean side) and took a little hike down to Diamond Bay. We found ourselves mostly alone for the whole day at this gorgeous little protected bay. We built sandcastles and explored tide pools and searched for beach glass all day.
