Mornington Beach

We finally went down to one of our little local beaches for the day on Boxing Day! EVERYBODY goes to the beach on boxing day. I have been so excited to go to one of the many beaches lined with iconic bathing boxes because they are so picturesque! Mornington Beach did not disappoint.

 How did we make it to the beach without Ireland's swimsuit?! No difference to her :)

 We found a perfect little spot where a rivulet came in for the kids to explore and play and catch fish. 

 I went for a little walk up and down this long stretch of beach and looked at all these gorgeous beach boxes. Each one is owned by a different family and they use them as they wish and decorate them as they like. A lot of them were being used that day and families were setting up picnics and getting little boats and toys out of them and setting up on the beach and opening up their doors while their families arrived. What a day!
