Parks turned the big 1-0!! in Australia! Just in time for us to head home after a month and a half in our new favorite country. He got to choose what we did all day so we started off at a fun obstacle/tree/garden experience just down the road, then came back to watch the Seahawks game in the afternoon (actually live!!) and then we swam in the pool and had a pizza party with the five of us. It was a perfect day. And man, oh man, I can't believe we have a ten year old. A TEN YEAR OLD. Parks is hilarious, adventurous, always building something or designing plans, has his nose in a book, and loves playing with his baby sister. We love you, sweet boy!!

This was so great! With Parker's birthday in early January we usually go snow innertubing sometime around his birthday so it was a HILARIOUS new experience innertubing on the grass in 95 degrees!

This was our second to last day in Australia. The next day we packed our bags, cleaned up, and met our dear new friends for dinner on the beach. We came back WAY to late for our early morning flight and despite having to get up at 4:30 am the next day, we threw caution to the wind and ran over to our next door neighbors house for late night wine and tearful goodbyes. We have had such an indescribable time here. We leave changed as a family and full of new adventures as individuals. We cannot believe we were able to experience this and put down our roots for this long. What an incredible opportunity. Cheers, and on to the next great adventure!
